The program consists of the following six levels:

Beginner Levels I & II: These levels are taught mostly in Spanish. The focus is basic grammar and vocabulary. Learning techniques include translated “cheat sheets,” flashcards, audio and visual files. The final exams are videotaped, rehearsed oral presentations.

Intermediate Levels I & II: These levels are taught mostly in English. Still book work of course, however much more interactive dialogue. Some additional articles are brought to class to discuss sporting events, holidays, current events and culture.

Advanced Levels I & II: Less bookwork, heavy emphasis on dialogue, frequent additional reading texts brought to class, option to cover interviewing and resume writing. Many times students ask to publicly speak and share presentations from their work areas. With this we practice our English, shake our nerves and build our confidence – the ultimate goal.

After graduating the Advanced Level, we put our new language skills to use by reading a paperback book in English. To date our library consists of:

-Emotional Intelligence
-The Four Agreements
-The Ice Cream Factory
-The Goal
-The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
